Alumni Relations
The best measure of the success of an educational institution is the success of its alumni. In its short existence, AKGIM has initiated to develop its alumni network. Tomorrow, AKGIM Alumni is to be found everywhere, building, leading and making a difference to organizations and the industry. AKGIM graduates are leaders in an exceptionally broad range of organizations, including entrepreneurial companies, established firms, government and nonprofit organizations.Some of them have gone for start-ups also.
AKGIM will continue to conduct reunions with a purposeful mix of learning and fun. The Alumni Relations Committee would serve as a platform
The committee is functioning under the guidance of Faculty Chairperson and the Alumni Association would comprises students of the existing batches in the campus. The belief in overall growth and holistic education is the basis on which this committee operates. Students have been encouraged to initiate various projects which help the alumni and their alma-mater reconnect. The committee thus has launched an Alumni Portal.

ALUMNI MEET 2024
AKGIM's Alumni have always been a pillar of strength, fostering enduring relationships that benefit both the institute and its graduates. On April 19, 2024, AKGIM proudly hosted its 7th Alumni Meet in the seminar hall, drawing in alumnies spanning from the 2014 to 2023 batches, accompanied by their families.
The event commenced with a warm welcome extended to the alumni and their loved ones. Dr. TR. Pandey, the Director, greeted the attendees with heartfelt words, emphasizing the significance of the graduation ceremony and annual Alumni Meet in facilitating growth for current and former students alike.
The atmosphere was charged with excitement as alumni engaged in various party games and delighted in a lively cultural program organized by their juniors. Informal interactions between the Director, faculty members, and alumni provided a platform for sharing success stories, experiences, and aspirations for the future.
A highlight of the evening was the announcement of a surprise gift for the alumni who showcased outstanding performance.
As the event drew to a close, alumni pledged to maintain their connection with the institute through ongoing activities and eagerly anticipated reconvening in 2025 for another memorable gathering.
Graduating Ceremony
On April 19, 2024, AKGIM was buzzed with excitement as the Graduating Ceremony for the batch 2021-23 unfolded. Dr. Ravi Singh, Vice President of Religare Broking Ltd., graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, adding a touch of distinction to the event.
Joining him as the Guest of Honor was Ms. Sonia Singh, a revered Senior News Anchor and consultant, lending further prestige to the ceremony.
The highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of the Topper’s cash award, a moment eagerly awaited by the students. Chief Guest Dr. Ravi Singh and the Director personally bestowed this honor upon various students from both the batch 2021-23 and 2022-24. Notably, Ms. Shivani Singh was awarded a cash prize of Rs.30,000 for her exceptional performance, including securing a silver medal in the university merit list and other notable achievements.
ALUMNI MEET 2023
One of the strengths of AKGIM is, and has always been, its Alumni. To establish, maintain and nurture a sustained, lifelong, and mutually beneficial relationship with its Alumni, AKGIM successfully organized the 6th Alumni Meet on 25 th March 2023. The meet was marked by the presence of around 140 Alumni along with their family from 2014 to 2022 batches.
The meet started with welcoming Alumni and their families. Director, Dr. TR Pandey welcomed Alumni with his compassionate words and outlined the objectives of holding graduating ceremony and annual Alumni meet for the advancement of the existing students and passed out ones.
Alumni participated in different party games and enjoyed vibrant cultural program organized by their juniors. During the meet, the Director and Faculty members informally interacted with Alumni, in which they shared their success stories, experiences and plans for the future.
The event concluded with a surprise gift for best alumni performance and flash mob followed by lunch. The Alumni departed with a promise to remain in touch with the Institute through various activities and to meet again in 2024.
Graduating Ceremony
Graduating Ceremony for batch 2020-22 was organized on 25 th March 2023 by AKGIM. The event was graced by Sh. Anup Kapoor, Executive Vice President, Infosys BPM as Chief Guest.
Guest of Honor for the event was Sh. S.K TIWARI, Sr. Vice President – Ghaziabad Management Association and General Manager (Operations), Godfrey Phillips India Ltd.
Cash Awards to toppers in various academic domains was also given by Chief Guest and Director to various students of batch 2020-22 and 2021-23. A Cash award of Rs.37,000 was given to Ms. Deeksha Dubey for her university position and other achievements.

One of the strengths of AKGIM is, and has always been, its Alumni. To establish, maintain and nurture a sustained, lifelong, and mutually beneficial relationship with its Alumni, AKGIM successfully organized the 5th Alumni Meet on 9th April, 2022. Alumni meet was conducted in the CS Block Auditorium . The meet was marked by the presence of all of the Alumni along with their family from 2014 to 2021 batches.
The meet started with welcoming Alumni and their families. Director, Dr TR. Pandey welcomed Alumni with his compassionate words and outlined the objectives of holding graduating ceremony and annual Alumni meet for the advancement of the existing students and passed out ones.
Alumni participated in different games and enjoyed vibrant cultural program organized by their juniors. During the meet, the Director and Faculty members informally interacted with Alumni, in which they shared their success stories, experiences and plans for the future.
The event concluded with a Lucky Draw and flash mob followed by lunch. The Alumni departed with a promise to remain in touch with the Institute through various activities and to meet again in 2023.
Graduating Ceremony
Graduating Ceremony for batch 2019-21 was organized on 9th April 2022 in the CS Block Auditorium. The event was graced by Mr. Sandeep Kalia, Executive Director at Shriram Pistons & Rings, as Chief Guest. Guest of Honor for the event was Mr. Dharmendra Singh. He is Dy. Executive Director at Shriram Pistons &Rings. Topper’s cash award was also given by chief guest and Director to various students of batch 2019-21 and 2020-22. A Cash award of Rs. 20000 was given to Ms. Radhika Kansal for her university position.
Registration of Alumni Association
Ajay Kumar Garg Institute of Management Alumni Association, 27 Km. Stone, Hapur Bypass Road Adhyatmik Nagar is registered as a society on 22.04.22. Its registration number is GHA/00652/2022-23.
ALUMNI MEET 2019
One of the strengths of AKGIM is, and has always been, its Alumni. To establish, maintain and nurture a sustained, lifelong, and mutually beneficial relationship with its Alumni, AKGIM successfully organized the 4th Alumni Meet on 16th March 2019. Alumni meet was conducted in the Vedanta farms, adjoining the college campus. The meet was marked by the presence of around 80 Alumni along with their family from 2014 to 2018 batches.
The meet started with welcoming Alumni and their families. Director, Dr TR.Pandey welcomed Alumni with his compassionate words and outlined the objectives of holding graduating ceremony and annual Alumni meet for the advancement of the existing students and passed out ones.
Alumni participated in different party games like Tambola, Balloon Bursting, and Musical Chair etc. During the meet, the Director and Faculty members informally interacted with Alumni, in which they shared their success stories, experiences and plans for the future.
The event concluded with a Lucky Draw and flash mob followed by Dinner. The Alumni departed with a promise to remain in touch with the Institute through various activities and to meet again in 2020.
