“Chanakya-” Business Simulation Game Competition:2024
AKGIM has successfully organized a two days Inter college business simulation game competition from 10th May to 11th May, 2024. The Business Simulation Game Competition held online via AIMA Biz Lab. It was a rich experience for participants to test their decision-making skills in a competitive yet collaborative environment.
Day 1: 10th May 2024
The competition began with an insightful inauguration ceremony. Dr. TR Pandey, Director AKGIM addressed participants to motivate them. Participants received a comprehensive briefing on the AIMA Biz Lab simulation game, followed by a practice round to get comfortable with the platform. Prof. Rahul Singhal and Prof. Pankaj Chauhan provided guidance to all participants about how to play business simulation games during practice rounds. The afternoon saw teams dive into the first two rounds of the competition, showcasing their strategic prowess in a race towards the top!
Day 2: 11th May 2024
The excitement continued on day two with the third and fourth rounds, where teams battled it out with even sharper strategies. The competition culminated with the result declaration by Dr. TR Pandey, Director AKGIM, followed by a session where participants shared their valuable experiences and learnings.
“Chanakya- 19” Business Simulation
AKGIM in association with AIMA conducted two days Business Simulation for MBA students on 24th - 25th Jan 2019. There were altogether seven teams who were operating in a virtual environment and ran a virtual company for six financial quarters. This game let participants expose to various challenging aspects of the competitive market and thereby were supposed to generate profits and gain market share. Team 0 consisting of Raghav Goel, Subodh Gaurav, Kavisha Goel and Shweta Kaushik emerged as winners. Mr. D.K. Gupta and Mr. Vijay Singh from AIMA were the facilitators.
“CHANAKYA” Business Simulation Game (Students) 10-11 November 2017
In order to make students experience the real corporate environment and how to make decision in a competitive market environment, AKGIM in association with AIMA conducted 2 days simulation Game "Chanakya" on 10th -11th November 2017.
In this risk free virtual environment, students got to know complexities of business which is full of opportunities, challenges and failures. Through this game, students honed their invaluable skill to handle on before embarking on their journey as managers.
All together there were seven teams that were competing against each other in the same market for a slice of the consumer pie and profits. Students got an opportunity to strategize with their teammates before making the final decisions. The dynamic aspect was prevalent however in the decision-making areas, where students could immediately see the effect of their choices once they started experimenting with the decisions. After every decision-making round, students' decision was simulated against other teams and the results of the round were available on the simulation platform.
After playing 5 Quarter game, Team 7 lifted the winner trophy with a cumulative profit of 84.945 followed by Team 6 with a profit of 78.055. Winning Team comprised of Prashant Kumar Garg, Kshitij Tyagi, Mehak Tewari, Amit Kumar Sengar, Akash Tyagi, Sadhana Shipra.
