MDP on Motivation, Teambuilding and Leadership conducted

Management Development Programme on Motivation, Teambuilding and Leadership was held on 5th and 6th of February, 2011. It went very successful, as it was attended by companies as HLL Ltd, Albert David Ltd, Tata Tele Services Ltd, Bajaj Power Ltd. Simultaneously it was also attended by various academicians from renowned Institutions and Universities like IMIT Hapur & Shobhit University. Trainees were addressed by known experts in their respective areas.

Programme started with the inaugural speech by Dr. Rajiv R. Thakur, Director AKGIM, who said that these programs are the platform where Industry and academics interact with each other. The session was followed by the key note speech of Prof. Dr. Manoj Sinha from University of Delhi. Dr. Sinha is an expert in training of leadership and its practice, which he usually delivers to officers from Government Departments. Dr. Sinha addressed the trainees on Importance of Leadership in today's Management world. He also discussed the relevance of Gandhi as a leader in Modern Industrial World.

Trainees also got the opportunity of interacting with Prof. Dr. Sanjay Kumar Singh from IMT Ghaziabad. Dr. Singh delivered his session on FIRO- B. This technique is used to measure or control how group members feel when it comes to inclusion, control, and affection/openness or to be able to get feedback from people in a group.

Programme was then continued by Dr. Vidhi Agarwal who gave very beautiful explanations in the area of Motivation and Conflict Management, and how to remove stress from the employees lives.
Programme was then concluded by Dr. Suruchi Singh who has delivered her session for increasing the conceptual understanding of Leadership, latest research in this area and how to implement the Emotional and Spiritual Leadership in Organisations for excellence.

The programme was very lively and interactive which had lot of live case discussions teambuilding and story building exercises which were appreciated by all the trainees.
